The Horizon Europe COMPASS project is set to transform offshore wind procurement. By integrating Life Cycle Costing( LCC) and sustainability models into an open-source“ digital twin,” the platform provides standardised metrics for tender evaluations.
For procurement leads, this means moving beyond price to score bids on verified environmental and social impacts. This tool will streamline Scope 3 data collection and de-risk long-term investments in both fixed and floating offshore wind supply chains.
