The International Federation of Purchasing and Supply Management( IFPSM) unites 44 national and regional purchasing associations worldwide, representing approximately 250,000 procurement and supply chain management professionals. This globally recognised, non-political, independent nonprofit organisation facilitates knowledge development and distribution to elevate the profession and improve business practices, ultimately enhancing living standards worldwide. IFPSM’ s operations encompass purchasing, materials management, logistics, supply chain management and strategic sourcing.
The Federation’ s mission is increasing member organisations’ ability to connect, collaborate and share best practices while serving their members more effectively. IFPSM provides global platforms for engagement through annual World Summit conferences, develops global standards and program accreditation for educational institutions, promotes best practices for involving young professionals, inventories self-assessment tools and maintains communication channels for industry news.
