A masterplan approach to decarbonisation Siemens will evaluate the sites and create an overall decarbonisation masterplan, including solutions to reduce energy demand and carbon emissions. Energy system twins will simulate scenarios to accelerate the selection of optimal measures and determine the best decarbonisation roadmaps for each site. The procurement package includes:
• Heat pumps for decarbonisation of heat production
• Energy efficiency upgrades
• Smart metering systems
• On-site smart integration of renewable energy
• Smart energy management systems to monitor, control and optimise usage across the sites
