Katie Aittola will become senior vice president, supply chain and real estate, and chief procurement officer, at Duke Energy, effective 1 January. She succeeds Dwight Jacobs, who has announced his intention to retire at the end of the year after 23 years of service.

BAE Systems has named Brad Pelachyk as its senior vice president and chief global supply chain officer.

Brad, who brings more than 30 years of global procurement and supply chain experience to the role, will serve as the procurement leader for the global enterprise, while also being a member of the senior leadership team.
