Janelle Orozco has spent more than 20 years in the procurement sector . She currently serves as Chief Procurement & Sustainability Officer for the North American region at The Kraft Heinz Company and proudly takes her place on the The Procurement Leaders Advisory Board .
Starting out at Diageo as an Ingredient Buyer in 2002 , she rose through the ranks over the next 17 years in impressive fashion , before eventually landing the top as Chief Procurement Officer .
In 2023 , she took a leap of faith to become Kraft Heinz ’ s CPO for North America , a role which has involved shaping the wider procurement vision and overseeing the department ’ s continued transformation .
