Mukul Agrawal, Director Engineering, VistaPrint
You have been working closely with Zycus for over a year. Can you tell us a bit about the partnership and how it is evolving? Zycus has been a great partner for 13 months. We broke down the implementation in multiple phases. The first phase went live in February 2025 and the next phase is going live in two months or so.
The one thing that I value a lot with Zycus is partnership. They are just not building software and leaving it for consumers to consume. There are other ways to put your requests with the product management team and get them prioritised. So, things that are important to your business are being prioritised by Zycus and that is super important.
Being a SaaS product, it’ s not easy to get that personalised service and that is amazing to see coming out of Zycus.
How do you envisage agentic AI being used at Vistaprint and across the procurement landscape? I’ ll break this down into three different segments.
One is e-procurement, which is purchase requisition, all the way to purchase orders and goods receipts; the second one is on the high contract side, which is contract repository and other things; the third is contract authoring for e-procurement.
We are coming from a legacy system to Zycus. So, the first two modules are still maturing from our business standpoint. We are a little farther away from agentic AI in those areas.
In the e-procurement module, there are a lot of use cases and we are now starting to scratch the surface of agentic AI.
It can be error handling in the backoffice functions; it can be reminders to users, making approval and user experience easier, trying to give them patterns, risk assessment and risk associations with this specific purchase.
We are now starting to surface these things.
What do you love about Zycus Horizon? I’ m meeting other customers and hearing their success stories, their learnings, what we can do, what we cannot do. Some of them have similar pain points and it’ s good to hear that as well because then there is bigger pressure on product management to improve.
