Unilever’ s Responsible Partner Policy
Unilever’ s Responsible Partner Policy( RPP) and Fundamental Principles reflect its dedication to responsible, transparent and sustainable business practices. This commitment forms the foundation of the Unilever Compass, a sustainable business strategy driving superior performance through purpose-led, future-ready operations and delivering value to all stakeholders.
Recognising that meaningful change requires collaboration, its RPP outlines the standards expected from business partners to ensure responsible cooperation. The 2022 version consolidated and replaced its previous 2017 Responsible Sourcing Policy and Responsible Business Partner Policy.
The updated RPP shifts from a traditional compliance framework to a continuous improvement model, building more resilient businesses while adapting to evolving third-party relationships and value chains. This approach promotes business growth alongside better outcomes for people and the planet.
Unilever’ s partner network spans the entire value chain – from upstream suppliers providing materials and services( including creative and media agencies) to downstream distributors and customers. Unilever actively seeks partnerships with organisations committed to implementing the RPP’ s Fundamental Principles throughout their operations and extended value chains, fostering collective progress toward sustainable business practices.
