Amid increasing market complexity, Globality CEO Joel Hyatt explores how AI agents can help procurement teams manage spend more efficiently
Procurement innovation is moving at an increasingly rapid pace. Every vendor has an experience with autonomous, agentic or automated sourcing, and most of those stories sound identical from the outside. Procurement leaders are left to figure out which claims hold up.
Recently there has been a lot of buzz in the industry from Globality, a Silicon Valley company, which recently unveiled its new“ truly autonomous sourcing platform” at Procurement & Supply Chain LIVE: The London Summit.
Joel Hyatt is Co-founder, Chairman and CEO of Globality. After three successful startup exits, he can be considered an expert in enterprise SaaS. He has a thorough understanding of how to recognise real innovation from hype cycles.
“ My job today is to empower others, to give them the tools and support they need to do well, so they can make sure that our clients achieve maximum savings and deliver more value for their business,” Joel says.
“ It is satisfying to see our customers winning. For example, when BT( British Telecom) achieves 89 % efficiency gains across their sourcing process. Or when Tesco’ s‘ Save to Invest’ program saved £ 2.2 billion over the last four years. Seeing that impact appear in a customer’ s own numbers is very fulfilling.”
