“ The answer was to leave the transaction side as it is. It works. I didn’ t try to change anything. I just tried to capture it first, because you need to know what you need to change.”
From 23 days to 23 hours When Kai evaluated the market for a platform that could make this work, he had a clear requirement: he needed intake and sourcing in a single tool, with no third-party dependencies. Not because he was opposed to specialist solutions in principle, but because he had seen too many multi-vendor architectures collapse under their own weight.
“ I wanted a simple way to take demand into the market, and Omnea was the one that said,‘ We can do that on our platform.’ I didn’ t need a second player. So it stayed a marriage of two, Adecco and Omnea.” Another platform had come to the table proposing a sourcing partner as part of its offer. For Kai, that ended the conversation.
“ The other platform we’ d looked at said,‘ and I’ ll bring a sourcing partner.’ That was the moment a third party entered the picture. In my experience, you can only really love one, and a marriage works best between two.” The deployment launched ahead of schedule and came in under budget. Within ten months, the results were ahead of every projection. Adecco’ s median intake used to take almost 23.5 days. Now it is 23 hours.
