EVENT REVIEW

Early September is a time when many people set new goals and find fresh energy for the months ahead. This year, that renewed focus took physical form in London, as procurement leaders gathered for Procurement LIVE: The London Summit. Held at the QEII Centre on 8 and 9 September, this two-day event took place alongside Supply Chain LIVE, Sustainability LIVE and, for the first time, Manufacturing LIVE.

Industry experts discussed the issues shaping procurement today, from the growing role of agentic AI in sourcing and supplier management to resilience, risk and the strategic value procurement can bring when it moves beyond cost control. Sessions explored how leading teams are eliminating manual work through technology, the shifting shape of global supply chains and the human side of procurement leadership.
Attendees also heard from a strong line-up of keynote speakers, with senior procurement voices sharing lessons from their own transformation journeys. On the first evening, the event played host to the Global Procurement Awards, celebrating the profession’ s standout achievements over the past year.
Procurement LIVE gave the profession a chance to turn renewed motivation into clear, realistic priorities for the rest of 2026 and beyond.
