As Chief Supply Chain Officer Ingram ’ s responsibilities cover the full value-chain across the planet , including sustainable sourcing , manufacturing , planning and all things logistics . His ultimate priority is the delivery of a top-class service to Bacardi ’ s customers and drinks of exceptional quality and taste to his consumers . While most people simply pour themselves a glass or order one at the bar , Ingram oversees and strategises the process that puts that glass in your hand , through systems and streamlines that have a truly global impact when seen in the context of the global supply of Bacardi ’ s brand . Prior to joining Bacardi , Ingram worked at Unilever for over three decades and was based in locations all around the world including the

UK , Mexico , China , Singapore and the Netherlands , most recently leading the company ’ s supply chain and procurement at a local , regional and global level . With such an in-depth experience across a number of roles throughout his highly productive career such as supply chain operations , procurement , manufacturing , logistics and planning , Ingram was perfectly positioned for the role of Chief Supply Chain Officer for Barcardi due to his broad and deep knowledge of several sectors that now perfectly come together . Originally from Scotland , Dave holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh , serves on the Board of The Procurement Leaders , and is fluent in English and Spanish .
