Lorie began her career teaching mathematics and computing before entering procurement in 2004 at ADP. After leadership roles at AIG, First Data and Fiserv, she joined IBM in February 2023 as VP of Global Procurement Strategic Sourcing and rapidly ascended to CPO, bringing an educator’ s rigour and a practitioner’ s instinct to one of the world’ s most consequential technology procurement functions.

At IBM, she leads a global team transforming procurement through AI, data and digital innovation. She brings more than two decades of experience in strategic sourcing and large-scale procurement operations across technology and financial services. She holds an MBA from the University of Michigan’ s Ross School of Business and has completed executive education at Harvard Business School. Passionate about talent, she actively mentors emerging procurement and supply chain leaders.
