Gonzalo has served as Chief Procurement Officer at Colgate-Palmolive since January 2026, succeeding Lauren Richardson, who retired from the role after nine years. Gonzalo brings over three decades of experience across the business, having built his career in supply chain, manufacturing and procurement. Before taking on his current role, Gonzalo served as EVP of End to End Supply Chain for Latin America and held senior vice president roles overseeing Global Supply, Demand and Ecommerce and Global Supply Innovation and Strategy. He also served as VP of North America Supply and held director of manufacturing roles in Mexico and Cambridge, Ohio. Earlier in his career, Gonzalo held roles including Director of Global Procurement for Home Care, Plant Manager at the Burlington plant and various positions spanning purchasing, technical management and supply chain network operations, having joined Colgate-Palmolive in 1993.
