Founded in 1915, the Institute for Supply Management is one of the oldest and most respected professional bodies in the field, and the ISM World Awards carry that century-plus of institutional weight. Presented annually at the ISM World Conference, these awards honour the brightest individuals and most innovative organisations in the sector.

The judging process is notably rigorous, with submissions assessed against detailed quantitative and qualitative criteria by panels of seasoned practitioners. Categories include the J. Shipman Gold Medal, the profession’ s longest-standing individual honour, as well as organisation-level and emerging professional recognition.
