Organisations often deploy specialised systems for supplier risk, legal review or compliance monitoring. Coupa Smart Intake and Orchestration enables these systems to contribute intelligence to procurement workflows.
Tricia describes this capability:“ Bring Your Own Agent allows a Coupa customer to surface an agent from a different solution during a process. If a customer has an agent in a non-Coupa supplier risk solution, that agent can be surfaced in Coupa during the workflow.”
In this model the external agent retrieves information from its source system and inserts that information into procurement fields required to continue the process.
Security controls govern the exchange of data to ensure that only authorised systems participate in the workflow.
