Adaptability – Glo’ s reasoning is not fixed. If a customer’ s approach to a category or negotiation differs from the default, Glo can be guided to reason accordingly, within the same guardrails and oversight.
Independent oversight – A separate supervisory agent reviews every negotiation, checking it against the customer’ s guardrails.
“ Handing over execution doesn’ t mean handing over control,” Joel says.“ You can give Glo autonomy while maintaining explainability, visibility, escalation paths, and independent supervision.”
A singular platform Another constraint that procurement leaders are facing is tool fragmentation. Traditionally, managing direct and indirect spend required different tools, so procurement teams have relied on multiple systems which do not connect with one another.
“ When those decisions live in separate systems, you lose the context and the ability to understand supplier relationships holistically,” he says.“ Different teams can end up negotiating with the same supplier without understanding the total relationship.
