Our partnership with Coupa goes back – actually predates Coupa back to 2013 with legacy LLamasoft. And we, as an end-to-end supply chain advisory firm, saw that LLamasoft – now Coupa – at the time was, and still is, the leader in supply chain design software. There was huge demand from the market for it, and so we thought: why not bring what we think is the best consultancy in the supply chain space together with the best software for supply chain design? It ' s been a happy marriage since 13 years ago, you ' re working and helping people navigate a time of such unprecedented volatility. What do you think sets businesses apart? What are the key differences that set apart a leading business? I almost feel like we ' re reliving some of the lessons of COVID, and it ' s crazy how quickly everyone forgot the lessons learned from then. It ' s like,“ Oh, we ' re back to volatility again – surprise, surprise.” I think those organisations that can unify that process from design and strategy onset through how you plan to then deliver the execution – the more that is in line, the more that ' s unified – those are the companies that are more adaptive and more agile. It does seem like every year we ' re talking about a war somewhere, or a virus outbreak on a cruise ship somewhere, or whatever it might be.
Could you tell us a bit more about how you and Coupa are helping organisations to be more adaptive and continuously optimise the supply chain? Historically – and I think there are unfortunately still a lot of organisations stuck in this – we ' re going to look at the design of the supply chain once every five years, once every two years, maybe annually. The world ' s just shifting too much. The ability of platforms such as Coupa ' s is that you can really drill down
